Hump Day, Week 2

The three day weekend was really nice! Josh and I got lots of work done around the house, did some shopping, went to an art show, and just hung out. It was cold and rainy/snowy, which made sleeping in three days in a row feel especially good! Yesterday at work I had a day full of meetings, but today has been quite the opposite - not a whole lot going on.

Seriously, this full time job grown up thing really isnt what I imagined. I envisioned have tons of time to get things done and spend with Josh - HA! By the time I get home from work, get to the gym, shower, pay some bills, make dinner, etc. its time for bed. And getting up at 6 am is no picnic either. I miss college - afternoon naps, not having clas till 11 am...and my bills were not nearly as enormous. To be fair though, I was poor, and getting poorer by the minute thanks to student loans (and the interest), so at least I'm working towards not having a NEGATIVE net worth haha! :)

And, finally, home is starting to feel like home. We got an 8x10 area rug for the living room, and it made a hug difference. This weekend we're painting the master bedroom and I am picking out a headboard and dresser (its all that will fit). The office really needs some work, but I really dont want to tackle that wallpaper removal just yet!
