Sore

We got so much done in our yard this weekend! :) Here's a recap:

20 Shrubs bought and planted
4 Foot area around house edged and mulched
Grass planted and fertilized
Decorative bushes removed from along the driveway
Leaves & debris raked
Small pine removed from yard
Removed years of old mulch from around our trees and remulched
Hanging baskets of flowers bought and hung
Slate ramp for garbage off of the driveway built

Whew!

Josh got a heck of a sunburn on the middle of his back Saturday, poor guy. He put sunscreen on, but only where 'he could reach' (forget asking for help). Then he didn't wear a shirt the entire day. Hes been a bit cranky ever since - can't say I blame him. We're both pretty sore, too.
It was nice to see my dad and he was a big help in the yard! On Saturday night we went out to a Hibachi Japanese Grill and he loved it and then went home and watched The Count of Monty Cristo. Overall, it was a great weekend. The weather was perfect, we got lots done, and it was so nice to see family.
Tomorrow morning I am off to Chicago until Thursday night. Well, kind of Chicago - Schiller Park - near O'Hare - so, not exactly Michigan Ave, but whatever. I have meetings with UPS and DHL and an import/export compliance seminar to attend during the day, but at night I'll be all alone in the hotel. Weird. It'll def. be an experience to make my first ever solo business trip.
