Weekend Recap & The Week Ahead

Friday: Went shopping for new work shirts for me. I have decided that enormous department stores are overwhelming and I am not a big fan. Too much crap to weed through - and consequently I have little to no luck finding things I like. I ended up buying 2 shirts from @nn T@ylor Loft (On Clearance for $10 each!) and three more from Eddie Bu@er (On sale for $20 each). On a side note - don't you also feel better about your clothing purchases when you get the packages home and they are in stylish bags and wrapped in tissue paper with a sticker rather than heaped in a plastic sac?! I know I do!
Afterwords we went to L*wes to price lawnmowers. I decided that I wanted to take a peek at the outdoor lighting and the mailboxes as well, since our current ones were hideous. No deal on the mailbox, but we did find one for about $30 that looks great. We got an amazing deal on the outdoor light though - clearanced out from $65 to $3.25! It wasn't the right color, but several coats of an outdoor matte black spraypaint later, and it looks fantastic. We also used that on the existing address plaque, which turned out great! Then we went to Walmart and bought a whole mess of yard stuff including a weed whacker, a shovel, a 100 foot hose, and a hose real. We also grocery shopped. Whoohoo.

Saturday: Went shopping for a lawnmower. Very exciting. Got a pusher with a bag at H*me Dep*t - they were the same price everywhere so we chose the one that I thought was 'prettiest'. Then we went out to lunch at Applebee$ - for a healthy choice I highly reccomend the WW French Onion Soup - very tasty! :) Then is was on to our first ever trip to $ams Club - we were too overwhelmed to do any real shopping. Left with gum, some dust spray, shaving cream and an enormous block of Asiago cheese feeling very defeated. Remind me not to go there on the Saturday before Easter ever again. Then Madison came over and we played house until Jen & Dan picked her up at about 8. Later we tried to watch Super Sized Me, but ended up passing out on the couch.

Sunday: Slept in! Went to the mall and got my sisters birthday present, cleaned the house, and relaxed! Tried to finish my 101 list, which didn't happen.

Wednesday: Work.
Thursday: Work.
Friday: Chicago!
