Sigh...

This week has been stressful at work. Long days, tedious work, and being in a place where you are obviously not welcome is exhausting (I can't say I entirely blame them...we are, in fact, auditing them). The staff is getting used to seeing us around, so hopefully by the time I am there alone next week it'll be the norm and they will be friendly.

On Monday we had our first softball game - we had tons of fun despite losing 5 to 11. The other team had one great inning, otherwise it would have been way closer. I was up to bat twice and hit the ball both times...too bad both times they caught the ball and got me out. Josh did good too - he hit the ball and got out just like me except that he made it to first base once, but he also played first base and got lots of people out too!

The grass in our yard is coming up like crazy! :) Hurray!

Concerning the Hypothyroidism issue, I have an apt with an Endocrinologist on the 24th. Also, my hair has been having a hard time taking color for quite awhile - the roots dont absorb the color and look lighter (we've tried everything). Im thinking now that it has to do with this. I have a hair apt on Tuesday and hopefully it'll go well.

This weekend Josh and I are going to the play The Full Monty at the Peoria Players Theatre and other than that we dont really have any plans except more yard work (the story of our lives, haha). I need to do a little shopping for summer work shirts - perhaps tomorrow evening?

Looking forward to heading to Belding for Memorial Day - got the invitation to my own bridal shower today from Josh's Aunt Kel (Thanks Kel - too cute!) Also, this week, a miracle occured: Paul (Joshs Best Man) called this week (HURRAY)....and, even more shocking, he has a phone...in his house (DOUBLE HURRAY)!
