Trash The Dress and other Random Happenings

I had another appointment with my Endocrinologist on Thursday. The very good - my ACTH test came back negative for a brain tumor. The not so good - my adrenal glands are not functioning properly which is causing overproduction of cortisol which is detering me even further from dropping weight. Something else is also going on thats making my cholesterol skyrocket (290) but we don't know what, yet.

Saturday night was Jens bachelorette party. We had a great time, but as hard as we tried, we just can't drink like we did in college. We were back to the hotel and in bed by about 1 am. I did not have a hangover Sunday morning. Hurray! :)

We leave for my parents in 11 days. I can't wait! We'll be there June 29th - July 4th. Then its back to work for 2 days and then off to Josh's parents for the weekend to attend Rose and Marks wedding. Which reminds me...Rose, how about an update! :)

The Chicken Tomesto Panini at P@nera is fantastic and only 5 WW pts for half. And the French Onion soup is only 1 WW point if you get it without cheese and croutons. I love finding healthy alternatives at restaurants. It makes me feel powerful, like I'm beating the system or something. :)

Last night my phone started ringing at midnight. It was my mom. She had laid down to take a nap at about 6 and when she woke up she just figured it was about 9:30 or so and decided to give me a call. Oops. Haha.

Recently I saw an article about Trash The Dress and I've been considering doing it. Its not like I am ever going to wear the dress again. If I have any daughters, they certainly wont wear it. It looks like a ton of fun and would make great memories. So, I'm thinking I'll either do Trash the Dress or just donate it to Brides Against Breast Cancer or something. I guess I'm just against stuffing it in a box and letting it collect dust for the rest of my life - I'm anti-clutter, so its just not my style.

Last week we won our softabll game 20-6. Josh and I each scored 2 runs...we also both scraped up a knee. If it stops raining we'll have a game tonight at 7.

I've resolved to start going to the gym again. If we dont have our game, I promosed myself I would go tonight. I need to find a way to stop loathing going to the gym. Any suggestions?

Bring a friend (read between the lines = me!!!) :) Do you go to the Riverplex? I don't have a membership yet and was going to wait until after summer, but I might be able to do a daily pass or guest pass?
