Home Again

After four short days, our UP trip is over, and I'm seriously bummed to be heading back to Illinois. Until Friday night I hadn't been home in 6 months and missing it was getting easy. Now that we've been there again I remember why I love it so much and missing home is hard all over again.

We just passed Crivitz, WI and traffic has been minimal and Josh has only had one mild road rage episode. After traveling today its back to work Thursday and Friday and then off to Rose & Marks wedding in Grand Rapids after work on Friday.

We had a great time these last few days and got tons done for the wedding - the flowers, cake, and tuxes are all ordered and paid for - hurray! :) Our ceremony is finalized except for the music, reading and vows. Easy enough to wrap up - we just have to make the final call on all of it. Our invitations are mailed except for the last 20 or so that we are waiting to addresses for.

We ate tons of good food at my moms house and I have my first dress fitting tomorrow...oops! Haha. My bridal shower was great - there were lots of people there and I got lots of very nice presents. I can't wait to get home and unload all of my kitchenaid stuff and pack away the old utinsils, etc for my sister.

Tonight (and tomorrow night too) we'll probably eat out since were leaving for the weekend again on Friday and there is no point in trying to grocery shop. Back on the diet Monday, I suppose! Ha!
