Tonight at 6:30 Josh and I have an appointment at The H0me Dep0t with a kitchen specialist. We are going to redesign and price out our kitchen. I'm super pumped about it. This is sort of my vision for what I want it to look like - my only concern is that the wood will be too dark - we may have to go with more of a cinnamon color?? We aren't sure when we'll actually do it/get it done - we need to talk price and labor hours, first. I'm hoping within the next six months or so, though!

beautiful. you could always go with a dark stained maple (espresso, even) instead of cherry. thatmight make it not feel so dark and a little warmer. also, a warmer granite or laminate could help the dark feeling....
this is almost exactly what my new kitchen will look like - if my offer is accepted!!!
