The Mumbler

Yesterday Josh and I had our final consultation for the Lasik surgery we have scheduled in January. We had our eyes numbed and then dilated, which was fairly annoying, as our vision was seriously blurry (especially up close) for several hours afterwords. The point of this story though, is that our eye doctor (whom we've never met before) is a mumbler. Now, its bad enough that he talks at such a low decibel that even dogs might have a hard time deciphering what he's saying, but to make it worse he is a super speedy talker as well. Which left Josh and I kind of staring at each other laughing awkwardly when his tone implied that he was saying something humorous or just nodding when we thought he might be asking a question or requesting feedback. I'll bet he thinks we're totally socially inept.
