The Haps

I can't believe that it will be August already on Friday. I feel like my whole summer has been a blur and it is going to be over before I know it. I feel like time is speeding up, if that makes sense. Anyway, heres a recap of what we've been up to, and whats coming up:

Friday: Hung out and played Wii in the basement to escape the heat.

Saturday: Cleaned, did laundry, grocery shopped, then Sandy & Evan came over for dinner. We had a really good time catching up, playing Wii, and eating good food (Sandy made a really good Spinach Artichoke Dip! YUM!).

Sunday: Slept in, then got up and made a big breakfast. Then we just hung out the rest of the day. We never even left the house....it was great!

Monday: I spent the night taking care of bills, paperwork, and planning things for our trip to the UP in a few weeks. While I am looking forward to this in a lot of ways, in a few others I'm not...mostly because I think it is going to be emotionally difficult to spread my dads ashes, etc.

Tuesday (Today): We are going to dinner at R&M's, which is great because this is the longest stretch we've gone without seeing them in a long time and we are having Brooks withdrawals!

Wednesday: Softball....I hope we win again! :)

Thursday: I think we have something going on, but I can't remember what it is.

Friday: No plans, yet.

Saturday: The Adler's party. Hurray! We are excited to see their house for the first time and hang out with them! I hope it is not too crowded and I get a few minutes to snuggle Lincoln! :)
