I'm apparently allergic to the statin my doctor put me on for my cholesterol...I am so itchy I could rip my skin off. I also have a very attractive bumpy rash on my torso and limbs. Hot. Hopefully he calls me back, soon.

Take a cold shower and some benadryl, it will do wonders, just make sure it's cold because warm or hot will make the rash worse...

is it your cholesterol drug or did they put you on Niaspan? remember I told you that itching/hotness occur in the middle of the night..any side effects, you should let them know...
