10 days and counting....

I leave for Peoria in 10 days. Im slightly nervous to start my internship, and this is why:

First of all, because I have never really had a 'real job' before...just waitressing, working in gift shops, telemarketing, etc.
Secondly, because I have no idea what I'll be doing this summer until I actually get there.
Third, sometimes I just feel dumb - like everybody else is smarter than me. Yes, I graduated with honors, yes I ALWAYS make deans list, but non-the-less, I still have feelings of being inadequate.
Fourth, I'm going to miss Josh and my family like crazy!
Fifth, I hate long drives by myself and I am bad at it, and this one is over 10 hours!

Now, why I'm excited to leave:

First, I can't wait to actually apply what I've learned (This is assuming I'm not doing bitch work).
Second, my cash situation is less than ideal, so making $17.50/hour should help that out.
Third, my life is so freakin boring right now, and at least I'll be busy again at Cat.
Fourth, I love going to new places and meeting different people, so this is exciting.

So, with that, my plans for the day are: shower, make Josh lunch, clean, start packing for Peoria!, and call Laura to catch up since its been a week since we last talked.
