My first day of 'work'

Well, my first day went just fine, a bit boring though. Mostly paperwork, talks on sexual harassment, Cat corporate policies, tax stuff, etc. Oh, and we did this 'icebreaker' thing where we all went around and said our name, school, major, and an interesting fact about ourselves, which in theory, could have been cool, but not with 450 INTERNS. It took over 2 hours. I wanted to scream, especially since they only had 20 minutes alloted on the schedule for it and it pushed everything else, like our breaks, WAY OFF! Whoever planned that is challenged, to say the least. Other than that though, things went fine. Tomorrow I start in Morton, so I'll get my picture taken for my badge, my car pass, a tour, and I'll be introduced to my first very own cubicle. Whoohoo. Haha.

On another note, my matress sucks so bad. Not only is it harder than a rock, it is disguistingly stained. I decided that the apartment complex stole it from a sleep away camp for bed wetters. Sick.

Well, off to find a gym I guess, then a shower, dinner, talking on the phone, and bed time.

Check out the Riverplex down by the water...it gives Cat employees a discount and is the best gym in Peoria. :)
