1/3 Done

Today marks the 1/3 mark of my internship. 4 weeks down, 8 to go. Thank goodness that in only 13 days I get to go home for an extra long weekend. I booked a flight from Peoria to Houghton leaving Thursday, June 29th in the evening, and returning Tuesday, July 4th, in the evening. I can't wait to go home, even if it is just for a few days! Also, at that point, I will be 1/2 way done with this place. Its amazing how I was so excited to come here, and now, I can't wait to leave.

On another note, I'm stuck here in Peoria for the weekend...for the first time since I got here. Its kinda lonely, but I had a good time with myself after work today. When I got home at 4:30 I took a well deserved/needed nap until 6. Then I went to Riverplex and swam 30 laps in the pool. Afterwords, I can home, showered, headed to Walmart for groceries, made myself a veggie burger, and talked to Josh on the phone. Now, I'm just about to head off to bed. Tomorrow I plan of getting up, going to the gym, showering, washing/cleaning my car, getting an oil change, and doing laundry. Then in the evening, heading to Britta and Jeff's party for a little while, but I want to get a good nights sleep too, so I don't plan on staying out very late. Also, I will not be drinking, since I'm on a diet, and its wasted calories. I dont know what I'll do Sunday...except sleep in as late as possible! :) I havent slept in really really late in a LONG time, and I am looking forward to it! I'm trying to stay positive about having to be here this weekend, and one good thing is that I'm going to get some cleaning done, and just be able to relax. :)
