Sorry I'm a little far behind! Congrats on the engagement! If you want to not become wedding obsessed start a Master's degree (see you've already done that step), adopt a toddler to keep up with, get pregnant so you have to baby plan too, and work 40 hours a week with an hour commute and try to keep your house clean.

Just kidding. From one over-achieving/type A/anal person to another, don't try to fight who you are. Then you're wedding-stressed and upset with yourself. If you want each detail to be perfect, then by all means, do what makes you happy. After obsessing over the big details, and making numerous phone calls, you learn to loosen up a little on the other stuff. That's what happened to me anyways. My mom would say that I've loosened my sphincter a little:) It's YOUR wedding [and Josh's a little bit;)] you can do whatever you want...remember that!!
