Every time a carrier comes in for meetings, they bring food. Loads of it. And not a veggie tray, either. I'm talking Krispy Kremes, Panara Pastries & Bagels & Spreads, Cookies, Candy. C-R-A-P. Loads of it. And it smells fantastic. They put it on our desks and word spreads like wildfire - I swear. Within minutes there are people everywhere, eating, talking about how good it is, blah blah blah. And I sit here, my work space invaded, and littered with crumbs (which drives me nuts), starving.
I'm going for a walk.

You just made me hungry! Mmmm .... bagels....
I used to love Panara's Asiago Bagels with creme cheese. Our printer used to bring them in all the time. Unfortunately I can't eat them any more and I'm thinking about them now because I'm hungry myself.
You must have fab will power - I would be all over the pastries.
it used to kill me at my old job--they'd have huge boxes of jelly-filled frosted donuts and panera bread bagles w/ cream cheese. I ate a couple of the bagles but I somehow did not cave to the the donuts. I think I did so by looking at my boss as she devoured them in meetings and visibly got larger in the process...
