'The Walk'

Thats what we call the trek from J office up to the A, B, and C offices. Its just over 1/2 a mile one way, through the shop and loading floors. Typically, I am well aware of when I will have meetings in the front and wear appropriate shoes. Today however, I forgot that I had one, and wore my pointy black 2.5 inch heals. Ouch. Also, it is hot and about 75% humidity today, making 'the walk' even more miserable. My feet are killing me.

We have to wear steel-toed shoes at our facility, which is good and bad. The good thing is, I never have to pick shoes in the morning and I finally have a really cushion-y pair. The bad part is, steel toes don't always look great with business casual even though I have a black and brown pair, and they take a good week to break in when you get a new pair. So for a week my feet throb!
