This Weekend

Friday: Went to L0wes and bought a shelf and brackets, then went to W@lm@rt and bought white plastic bins. Installed shelving in Josh's closet and organized everything into said bins. It looks amazing!

Saturday: Thought about going to Starved Rock to go hiking, but slept in, instead. Then we went back to L0wes and W@lm@rt and replicated what we did in Josh's closet in mine. Again, awesome - its amazing how much more storage one 8 foot self adds! Then Josh mowed the lawn, we showered, and went out to dinner at @pplebees (we tried to go to 0live g@rden but it was packed with high schoolers going out for homecoming). Then we went back and bought me a set of golf clubs and spent the rest of the night watching the movie Away From Her. I randomly picked it up at Bl0ckbuster and thought it looked interesting. It was in the new release section, but there were only 3 copies. Anyway, its a Canadian film about a couple who has been married for nearly 50 years when the women gets Alzheimer's. It follows the progression of the disease and the toll it takes on their relationship - from the beginning stages where she puts a frying pan in the freezer, to making the decision to put her in assisted living, and finally, to the point where she doesn't even know her own husband of 44 years. It was pointed, and truly sad...perhaps one of the best love stories I've seen, because it was so real. Josh even enjoyed it. I highly recommend that you all rent it.

Sunday: Slept in again. :) When we rolled out of bed at about ten we ate breakfast, read the paper, and then went to the driving range for about two hours. After that, we pretty much laid in bed all afternoon watching movies on TV. I kind of felt guilty because I probably should have been cleaning the house, but it can wait for another day, I suppose.

And now its Monday, again. We leave for our vacation in 11 days and I can barely stand the wait! I'm super excited. I'll post more about that later. I hope you are all having a good start to your week! :)
