Do things like this really happen at MTU?

Michigan Tech Releases Contents of Two Threatening Notes

APRIL 25, 2008--In an effort to further the investigation of two threatening notes found on campus, Michigan Technological University is releasing their contents.

A note discovered in the ROTC building April 16 said "I will kill you all," and the note found in the Electrical Energy Resources Center Thursday stated, "Students will pay for sins."

Public Safety, in conjunction with the Michigan State Police, is continuing to investigate both incidents.

Since the second note was found, the University has limited access to the residence halls to residents and building personnel only. After the first note was found, the ROTC building was closed until the end of the semester to all but regular users of its offices and classrooms.

The campus community has been asked to continue normal activities and to report anything out of the ordinary to Public Safety immediately.
