Getting Reamed, InPlay, and This Weekend

Its like I has ESP or something, because Devin showed up to work 20 minutes late today, and Bob FINALLY reamed her a new one over it. Secretly, I was thrilled, but at the same time I kinda felt bad for her. Not even 'that girl' wants to be that girl. It feels awful to get called out on something, even when you know you've been doing wrong.

On another note. Tomorrow is already Thursday, and a week and 40 minutes from now, I'll be home. That feels good. Work was good today. We had our third round of green belt training, and then a meeting, and then a tour of G&D Integrated, a major Cat 'supplier', who does cross docking as well as assembly of the track type tractor tracks. It was really interesting. Then tonight, we had an intern social at InPlay, a bar/arcade thing. It was pretty fun, actually. I wasnt sure if I was going to go, but then Julia, Tracy, and Stephanie called me to see if I wanted to go, so I did. We had a good time playing basketball and skeeball, and a bunch of other random games. Cat gave us all a $20 game card, which seriously took 2 1/2 straight hours of playing to use up. It would be a great place to take your kids on a rainy Saturday afternoon for not a whole lot of cash.

I'm supposed to go to Indy this weekend to visit Kristen and Amanda, but I'm just not sure I'm up for it. A nice quiet weekend here sounds like just the ticket, but I already told them I was coming. I just don't really feel up to the 3 1/2 hour drive on Friday after work, or the partying they will surely want to do in Broad Ripple. We'll see. I'll have to decide by tomorrow afternoon, because if I go, I must do laundry tomorrow night. Well, a little Sex and the City, and I'm off to bed.
