1. We aren't putting in the new kitchen. We had a realtor value our home as it stands today and with our proposed renovations. She said to scrap the new kitchen idea and instead, put a fresh bright coat of paint on the cabinets, install new ceramic flooring and brushed silver knobs. So, thats what we'll do. Damn...I really loved that kitchen plan, too.
2.) We got a new truck. A 2007 Toyota Tundra, to be precise. Its a 4WD, half ton silver beast. One our way home from the dealership on Saturday we pulled up at a stop light next to a city bus....we were eye to eye with the bus driver. Josh is in love. :)


Update: I was concerned that our auto insurance was going to skyrocket, going from PLPD on the Focus to Full Coverage on The Beast. I called Metlife this morning to switch coverage and it was going to be $1120/6 months...until I asked them if we get a discount for being married, at which point they recalculated it at $768/6 months! Score! We were paying $100/month and now its only $128!
